You can read an excerpt from the book at the Gizmodo article linked above.
A few years ago, I found one of those hidden gems that abound in Japan: a tiny bar ensconced on the third floor of a nondescript building, above an accessory shop and a doria restaurant. The owner is a serious whisky and bourbon aficionado. He regularly publishes articles in magazines like Whisky World.
He takes a trip every year to the US to tour bourbon distilleries. If he could read English, he’d probably be fascinated by this book. I might buy it for him anyway, just for the hell of it.
